The north of Nagasaki - Urakami - was the second atomic-bomb site. There's a Peace Park, with a nice fountain, the remains of the a-bomb-blasted prison, and assorted peace-supporting statuary from around the world. The central statue is a somewhat ugly thing (I'll add a little picture below this), but here's a better example, "Constellation Earth", by Paul T Granlund, Minnesota, USA.
